How's it going everyone. For my first post, I'd like to give a breakdown of how I see myself running this site. I hope to post something here in my blog around once a week. If I ever get other people to help me contribute then that number will increase, but for the time being I don't have too much free time to write more than once a week. Probably on Sundays.
These posts will be about one of a few things. They may focus on a lesson I taught in my classroom, or about a new lesson I made for a video game I recently played, or am currently playing. My posts about the lessons I teach in my classroom will by categorized as "Student Reactions" while the posts about the new lessons I've added to Hey Listen Games will be categorized as "New Lessons."
I will also post whenever I am featured in some work outside of Hey Listen Games. See the category above titled "Work Elsewhere." This may include podcasts, or articles i have written for other website. I want to keep you all updated whenever I have new content for you to utilize in your classrooms and the are other resources out there that I hope to lead you all to.
I am also just creating a new elective class at my school that will utilize video games as the main texts. You can find updates on this class under the section "The Walking Simulator."
If you have any ideas of your own, or games you have been interested in using, reach out! I would love to know what you all are interested in teaching.

These look amazing, Zack. Multiple access points and myriad language modalities. I played Republia through once and, of course, became trusted editor-in-chief by day 5. Some showmanship techniques never leave your system! Next time round, I'll attempt the rebellion route!
